FBLA STATES

Question Posted Wednesday April 2 2008, 10:13 pm

I'm going to states for FBLA and I wanted to know if it was any fun? (NY) I am just really worried that I'm going to be miserable and want to go home. I'm reading the itinerary and I just feel really stressed out that I'm going to be late and busy the whole entire time. What should I be expecting? (PS- I'm not one of those people that has their heart and world revolved around FBLA so talking about FBLA doesn't always excite me..)

since you asked this question a while ago & no one has answered, i will try to answer it the best that i can.

i have never been to state FBLA, but i have been to state FCCLA in virginia beach.
when i went, i made tons of new friends & never once got homesick.
in fccla, i had to present a presentation in front of a lot of judges, which i don't know if that's anything like an itinerary, but whenever i did my presentation i made sure i was on time & had everything prepared & ready. it was really nerve wrecking but once i got it done i was able to win the trophy & everything :)

my heart wasn't always set on fccla either, but being there was a lot of fun. some of the things they discussed & talked about bored me like crazy, but i was able to pretend interest.

if you're going to new york, then you should have a lot of fun & meet new people. you shouldn't worry about being miserable.
trips are always fun.
just don't dread it, because if you set your standards low, then you won't enjoy being there.

i tried my best to help. & i hope i did
good luck
:)
