hi there,
I am currently doing a survey for my college and would like to ask this question on advicenators
Would you as a girl,confess to guy about your feelings first? or would you prefer for the guy to do it?
and why would you prefer the guy or yourself to say it first?
this is in context of assuming that you both are great friends,mutual friends or strangers,,you can reply based on any situation.thanks again! (link)

let the guy go first!if a guy really likes agirl he can build up the courage to confess his feelings first.thats just the way its supposed to be.i mean not that im saying a girl cant make the first move but i wouldnt.you need to let the guys come to you.if you ask a guy it may make you look desperate plus alot of guys wouldjust say yes because they want a girlfriend or some pretty girl to put their arm around but girls are different[most anyway],they have self control,if they dont like a guy they will say it in the nicest way possible.ya know what i mean?if your great friends you have to hint at it or flirt excessively so they know you like them.and if your strangers,who cares?!alot of times people have alot more self confidence knowing they may never see them again.

this girl who i really dont talk to asked me to call her in as her mom. shes really good friends with my friends, and she said if she gets caught she'll take all the blame. so i did it. today i was called to the office, they asked if it was me. i didnt no what to do so i freaked and said no it wasnt i promise. i left and he said if your lying there will be serious trouble. i decided to go back to talk to him after school to confess, but he wasnt there. i left him a note to call me into the office tomorrow. what should i say?! its hard to be like, well hey i lied to you im sorry, because i went into detail in my lying you know! so it will make me look so stupid and bad! im so scared of getting suspended, i was just trying to be nice to that girl. im in sports, i CANT get suspended! please please please help me im soooo scared ill be in trouble for lying, i cant stop crying! but going to tell the truth is best to do right? sorry its long please answer!!!
ps. i NEVER do anything bad. ive only ever ditched once, im an A and B student. all thats on my record was excessive tardies 2 years ago. Im truly a good kid! just caught in a bad situation (link)

mmkay calm down!take a few deep breaths.its going to be alright,it wasnt your fault.you may feel embarrased and maybe they will be a little dissapointed in you but they will respect you even more for telling the truth.your doing the right thing!plus what if you dont say anything and she freaks out and lies and then you BOTH get in trouble.honest is the best policy.i highkly doubt there goona give you detention for telling the truth.mmkay so heres what you say:

Im planning to have a sleepover with my friend and our 2 guys friends at my house. My mom is usually okay having people over and they can leave at 3 in the morning. But i want to ask her if they can sleepover, what the best way?
& im 14 in grade 9, those guys are just our friends from long ago in elemantry schools, & we just want to have fun watch movies etc.
so what is the best way for her to say yes for them to sleepover. And if she says no, i still want them to come, so what should i do? lol

haha no offense but i wouldnt even try!
your mom would have to be the COOLEST mom ever to let you have boys sleep over.i mean,i know mine would freak!most likely she would probably say no and it would put her in a bad mood.why dont they stay until like 3am and then you guys could meet up really early to hang out to go eat donuts or something.or even sneak out if you have to.

I'm 16/f
My older sister is almost 20, still living in our parents house, un-employed, and about to quit college. My dad doesn't really say anything about it, but my mom is now heck-bent on me going to a top-notch college, getting a job as soon as possible, and all the things I want to do socially with friends doesn't even matter. I understand that they don't want me to end up like my sister, but I find it unfair. They were never this hard on her, and let her decide. Heck, she didn't even get her drivers license until last year! And now it's gotten to the point where they are catering to her every need and pushing me out into the world without warning. With that said, How do I talk to my parents about this? I want to do all of these things (drive,work,etc.) but at MY own pace.

im sorry,that sucks!and your absolutly right,they DONT want you to end up like her.i mean do you wanna have her life?most likely not.i would just say[when your sisters not around]i know you guys want the best for me and thats why you guys are pushing me BUT its hard.i mean im 16 and i want to have a life but a good future at the same time.i just feel like you guys expect to much of me and its really hard on me.maybe we could work out an agreement so i could work on some days and be a normal care free teenager on others.mmkay?i tihnk that sounds good.i mean thats whatd id say.good luck!
