no!! i actually think that a cocktail dress would look really cute. just make sure that you find the right color for your skin tone and the right fit. remember, prom is all about having the time of your life!! so wear what you like! i hope this helps =]]]

You should wear what you want, but this year is all about long and formal.

My opinion is that you should wear what YOU want and what YOU'RE comfortable in.

I mean, you only go to prom once (well, sometimes twice) so you should wear whatever dress you want!

The dress I wore to prom wasn't real long and all that stuff. It was actually fairly short. It really depends on what you like and what you want to wear. It shoudn't matter at all what kinda of dress you wear to prom. The only way the dress would matter if the prom has rules like how short its allowed to be and if your allowed strapless dresses and so on.

Well it is all up to what you like, if you want a cocktail dress then go for it, there are all different types of cocktail dresses some don't like the short ones and some don't like the long ones, I think both are perfect for grad it just depends on what your interest is.
