Are private school (over public) people more hardcore in terms of drugs, trouble, and sex or is it just a rumor? Any reasons why?

it's a rumor..

all schools are basically the same, you hear more about it in public school though. with private schools they do the same things but try to keep it in the school for a good reputation.

in private school they are taught some about religion and stuff and to rebel, kids get into that stuff because they know they shouldn't.

LOL_x0x answered Sunday March 16 2008, 5:12 pm:
I think it depends. I know my school ( a public school) has A LOT of kids who drink (which I don't take part in) and A LOT of kids who use drugs (something I also do not take part in). I mean, it's sad to say, but I could probably name more people I know who drink than those who do not. I probably know more people who've told me stories about getting in trouble with the police, than those who tell me stories of good things, like passing a chemistry test. I find it sad, really, that that is what my school has succumb to. I mean, there are good people at my school (like my close friends and I), don't get me wrong, but there are just far too many people doing things they shouldn't.

Why this is, I don't know. Maybe because the private schools, like those that focux more on religion teach the kids more about not to doing destructive things like drink?

i mean it matters, i go to private school and my friends just do safe stuff like alcohol (don't go overboard tho) and pot (which doesn't do anything unless u do it too much). we are worse than some public schools, but most public schools do a lot worse. private school people pretty much hang out with people from other schools, so they are only as bad as who they hang out with, because most people in private schools are nerds or geeks... and so we hang out with public school people... that probably is a confusing answer, but i hope it helped...
