If I have gone to 2nd or 3rd base (hand job, blow job, or if my partner performed oral/manual sex on me) and the doctor asks me if I'm sexually active, do I say yes?
By the way I'm not doing any of these things, but I probably will be in the future.
17, female

I mean im not saying she is dumb because this is her first time...but do not do such a thing..if the condom is on wrong..do not re-apply during intercourse..don't even re-apply it before there is a good cahnce that it may be a little rip in it after it was applied AGAIN.so im not saying do not say yes or say yes but if you feel that you need to be way protected then say yes.i hope i helped.

Peeps answered Friday March 14 2008, 4:27 pm: Yes, you would be considered sexually active, especially since you can contract STDs/STIs from oral sex. Herpes (HSV-1 & HSV-2), chlamydia, syphilis, HPV (Human papillomavirus), and even HIV (Human immunodeficiency virus) can be transmitted by engaging in oral sex .
It's important to inform your doctor when you have been sexually active and how many partners you have had. If you want to clarify it has only been oral then you may do so and they may write it in your chart. You may even want to let your doctor know that you are not currently sexually active but are planning to be in the near future. [ Peeps's advice column | Ask Peeps A Question ]
