vacation (didn't know what other category to put it in)
i'm turning 18 so this summer me and my friends are going on vacation together. we are looking for some beaches that are also near a lot of nightlife with things to do. can anyone give me any good ideas on where to go?

If you're up for traveling (& spending quite a lot of money) I'd suggest Mykonos, which is an island off if Greece. I stayed there for two nights last summer and fell absolutely in love. :]
otherwise, depending on where you are (east coast, midwest, west) you might want to check out some localish attractions.
if you want to go to California, for any reason, dont go to Sacramento/Central Valley if you want to have fun. Its all buildings, Mickey D's, and cows.
Big cities frequently have clubs & such, and many states have at least one big city.
