Is it a turn-off to guys if a girl has low self-confidence or in other words is shy?

If you aren't outward about yourself it will be hard for the guy to get to know you. It's also hard for a guy to initiate anything with someone who is shy.
it isn't necessarily a turn off, but it's certainly hard to work with.
I know if I were messing with someone who was shy, I'd probably drop them soon as I'd get bored they weren't willing to work easily with me.

Not necessarily! Some guys love confidence in a girl while other guys see confidence as being conceited, and usually like the shy girls. So, basically, it all just depends on what a guy likes! Hope I helped!

most guys are okay with shy girls as long as they dont act snobby...
but confidence is sexy. so even if you have really low self esteem try not to show it on the outside.

I don't think it is a turn-off when a girl acts all shy. Actually most guys love the sweet, quiet, shy type because they have the most fun trying to get them to do crazy things. I am the same way until I met a few guys who became my best friends but they loved the fact that I wasn't a risk taker. If someone is willing to do anything it is no fun while a person you would never expect to do those things makes it more exciting when they a guy gets them to do them. Stick to your strategies and I bet you will meet alot of guys who will like the shyness in you.
