i'll give you some background information .. ok so my bestfriend of the opposite sex lives in massachusetts and i live in newyork. we're both 16. we met three years ago at our grandparent's retirement development in florida while we were both there visiting. we obviousily became really good friends. neither of our grandparents live in florida anymore as of last year. last summer we really wanted to see eachother so we both convinced out parents to let me go to massachusetts to see him .. and i did and we had an amazing time. so i went back this past april for a week and you can totally say we became more than friends in april. it was the first time we had hooked up.
it doesnt seem that he has any sort of interest in coming here to newyork to visit me which i really dont mind because i'd rather go there anyway because i became really close with his family too. and i was thinking about going back again this summer. and his confirmation is the 27th. and with the job i have if i plan on going anywhere i need to let my boss know so she can make other arrangements without being stressed out. so i was thinking since that is a set day that i would leave to go to massachusetts on the 26th. and then i had another brilliant idea of not telling him im coming and surprise him. i was text messaging his mom on saturday and asked her if i could come back and visit within the next month and she told me of course i could whenever and however long. and i told her if we could keep it a secret from john and she said of course. i had told his bestfriend that i was gonna try to make plans to come for john's confirmation. me and eric got into a fight so to get back at me i guess, eric told john that i was planning on coming and surprising him and that i was using going to california as a coverup. which was the plan. and in my AIM profile i had "july 26th-august 3rd california" in my profile. so john IMed me and ill paste the convo ..
john: since when are you goin to cali?
me: uhm the other day
me: im going to see my uncle.
john: mhm...........questionable

john: eric told me that is a cover up bc your comign here for my confirmation on the 27th

so after that conversation i was very questionable able still wanting to go to massachusetts. cos i dont know if john's basically telling me that he doesnt want to see me and doesnt want me to come. i was gonna call john's mom this week anyway to set everything up for me going. and i was gonna ask her what she thought about me coming if she thought it was ok or not the best time. because when im there i dont just sit around with john the whole time, i spend time with his mom and brothers and his grandparents also. when i was there in april he had baseball practice for three hours everyday and i was fine while he was gone. so i dontknow i'm still gonna ask john's mom but i do need some other advice .. soo this is so long! thanks in advanced:)
i think if you want to see him, that you should go up and visit him because obviously you like his family, too.
i think honestly that his little "i have to work" thing is a cover up because he didn't say that in the first place;;
and that little friend eric is a diiiick.
so call his mother and ask her what's going on, because she seems to really want to see you.
Well i had a relationship that lasted almost an entire year. The guy meant like the world to me, i mean i really was in love. but we started having trust issues. I accused him of cheating on me with his bestfriend, a chick, one too many times and he ended it. The thing is that was more than 4 months ago and i can't bring myself to move on. A guy asked me out a very good friend of mine and i said yes but all i feel is indifference in being with him. I keep thinking about my ex and i've told him that cuase we still talk. He's a straight shooter though, he says i just need to forget him and that he's just a boy. It's clear he no longer loves me but for some reason i just cant stop loving him. i dated this boy for two years and seven months, it's been five months, and i still have slight like the littlest feelings for him, and its still taken me this long, ive been through like eight boys, and now i am almost finally over him, my lesson is you are going to have to go through "rebounds" to get over him, and that's basically what that boy you are dating is.

okay so my sex life is good except one thing
when I'm with my boyfriend having sex i feel so insecure about my body, when he tries to take off my shirt i usually start doing something else so he wont like i feel really fat when im naked im 5'3 and 120 and hes never said anything about my weight but i just feel fat and i never let him take off my shirt and i want to let him to and stuff but i cant get over it.. how do i get over it and just let him?
i think everyone has that problem;
first of all, he obviously cares about you, so he isn't going to judge you.
you just have to accept yourself first, and just be comfortable with him, or your relationship will suffer.
if he didn't like the way you look he would have hinted about it, or said it bluntly.
i have dark body hair, and i feel like i have kind of a lot on my stomach and lower back. i know every girl has hair there, but i feel like i have way more than most girls. i shave my arm hair off, since its super dark, as well as my legs of course. anyways, its probably not as bad to others as it looks to me, but i've always had more body hair than others. so i was wondering, should i shave the hair or try to dye it like a bleach blonde kind of color? especially with it being bikini season i dont want people to see my kinda hairy tummy and back! ew! ha plus i feel self concious. any advice is very appreciated thanks! I hate these questions, but I'm so desperate and I don't have anyone to turn to.
Everything is just going downhill. Track is over, so I have nothing to do and no one to hang out with because my friends all have their own lives. My boyfriend cheated on me with a girl that I really don't think highly of, and I don't know if I should take him back or not. Everytime I see him, all I could think about is those two kissing, and how betrayed I feel. He wants to get back together and is trying, but at this time I cannot trust him. My sister keeps claiming I'm lazy because I am home, when really I just have nothing to do. I have finals coming up, plus I should be going to get my license sometime soon. My boss wants me to work a double job for three days in July, which I don't know if I could handle it. I really don't mean to complain, I just really need someone to vent to.

just because track is over, doesn't mean you can't still run, because obviously you enjoy running.
if you pick up a new hobby, you can make new friends, so pick something you enjoy to do, now that you have time for something else.
DO NOT take your boyfriend back there is no way you could trust him, and you cannot have a relationship with someone without trust.

take the three day job, you can make more money and it will give you something to do.

i am 16.. about 5 foot, 4 inches..and about 120 lbs.
i woke up this morning and felt and looked really fat. i work out everyday. i run about 2 miles, do uphill bicycling for about 20 minutes, some weight lifting, and different ab exercises. i drink alot of water, take apple cider vinegar tablets, and ive been cutting back on my food intake. im pretty sure i eat less than 2,000 calories a day. im pretty toned until my belly button. i STILL have extra fat around my lower abdomen, hips, thighs, butt.
i don't understand what i am doing wrong.
i confess to sugar cravings though
if im up late at night and craving, i will eat a bowl of frozen yogurt or sherbet.
can you give me some dieting tips or an good example of a good food regimen for a few days?
and also some healthy alternative snack when i feel like snacking or am just craving?

honestly, you are right on your weight level, because when you are five feet you should be one hundred pounds and for every inch you should be five pounds heavier.
some people are as toned as they can get and can't lose anymore weight..
but;
when you eat late at night, it's like eating something but the calories are about twice it, because you should not go to sleep on a full stomach, so if you do eat at night you should have AT LEAST two hours for your food to digest before you sleep. instead of eating ice cream every night drink a bottle of water, because the water will probably fill you up more than the ice cream will and will save you A LOT of calories, I'm not saying NEVER eat ice cream, treat yourself once in a while.

Later on i went to the carnival in town and i see her there. Everytime i look in her direction she hides from me, i look over and she hides behind her friendsor turns around. Why does she do this?
it depends, maybe if you did something wrong and she is afraid to talk to you about it, or maybe she just wants to grow apart from you..
mention the situation to her and how it hurts you, and then give her some space and hang out with other friends.
if she wants your friendship she will be mature and talk to you about whatever is bothering her.

I've tried a few different kinds of mascara(various covergirl mascaras and rimmel)and so far, rimmel has been my favorite because it doesn't clump my lashes. However, after a few hours, I've got mascara smudges underneath my bottum lashes(not from wet mascara rubbing off but rather what seems to be dry mascara flaking off). Can anyone suggest a good mascara that doesn't clump and, most importantly, doesn't flake off and smudge?
well, i just recently found maybelline's define-a-lash mascara, and i haven't wanted to use anything else, it's so great, it never clumps and you don't have to keep swiping it on, i got all my friends to use it too, and they don't have a bad thing to say about it either.
it's like eight dollars but you only need to replace it like every two months.

It's not cheap looking as the others said, it just isn't the "prom look" the dress looks like you are on a night out with your friends.

welllll, if you are talking about the fake nails you get from like target, you probably won't get more than a week from them if that.
reuse is your decision i mean if one falls off then you can glue it back on, but honestly i would pay the extra five dollars to get a new set, um as for acrylics i love them, yeah they are bad for your nails but i think they are worth it because after you take them off and if you like paint your nails for like a month they go back to normal, and if you go get them done and get acrylics then you don't have to do them, but its all a matter of preference try it once and if you don't like it then you know that next time.

I met this guy about a year ago. At the time he was going out with my best friend. They had an awful breakup about 3 months ago. Me and him became very close but just as friends.
