sims 2--weird content glitch?

hey guys

so a couple of days ago, pretty out of the blue, almost all my maxis hair and clothing in the sims 2 started showing up like this:

none of my custom content is affected, however.

it's kinda awkward.

any assistance would be really appreciated :)

delete any mods and custom stuff. If that doesn't work...you may have to re-install the game.

Go to the start menu
Select control panel
Go to "Add/remove programs"
Find Sims2 on the list
Remove the program
Then re install:]

A similar ting happened to my friend. She re-installed the game, and after it worked perfectly :)
