Universities in the states.

Question Posted Monday February 25 2008, 12:59 pm

I'm Estonian, but I've lived in Belgium for 6 years. I'm going to finish school here.
I am interested in going to university somewhere in the states.
I'd appreciate it if anyone could recommend good uni's which aren't TOO expensive. Also I'm interested in doing something art related.
Like graphic design or photography.
I can speak Estonian, English, Decent Dutch, Decent German and some French (I'm still learning Dutch and French as foreign Languages)

Thank you!

Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). I hear it's very good within the arts majors. It's supposed to be one of the best. And it's a public university. I gave you a link for international students wanting to apply. You can also look around on the website to help you decide on other factors. [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) Um, I live about 15 minutes from the campus, it's very nice. It's right in the the middle of Richmond. So, if you don't enjoy the city, and would like something more rural, it might not be the best choice for you. Cost wise, it's not too bad. I would give you an estimate, however it just depends on so much. (Housing (on or off campus), Meal plan, Classes bein taken, etcetera.) They have estimates on the site for you though once you type it all the stuff you specifically want. I'll put it to you like this though, it's one of the cheapest public universities in Virginia. Have any more questions? You know where to find me. :-)

I would have to say that the best school in West Virginia that is not to bad is Bethany College or Akron University in Akron, Ohio. Both of these schools have good representations on its art backgrounds. In Bethany you are awarded a scholarship for transfering so it will help with the cost.
