Question Posted Tuesday February 5 2008, 10:43 pm

I am a teen girl and next to wear my underwear line is on the insdie my leg i am getting like a rash, i don't know if it is from my pads (from when I have my period) or if it is an STD (i've had sex with only one guy since sept. (we'd fooled around like teased previously, but never actually had sex sex) anyways, its red, slightly raised a bit and I guess it is just worrying me that it could be an STD or is my pad just irritating my soft skin when it rubs up against it? Please answer as soon as possible, I've tried to research it but I need some advice please.

It could just be caused through irritation, yes.
If you see no signs of improvement or it gets worse after your period, it might be worth getting a doctors opinion, although I doubt it's sexually transmitted.

well, it can be a reaction to something. maybe it's your pad or maybe your underwear. i highly doubt it's an STD. but to be sure, make sure to visit your doctors. they'll tell you what's wrong. hoped i helped.

its probalby your underwear
i used to have the same problem then i bought lace trimed panties and it stopped but, you may need a thinner pad
try thong pads even if you dont wear a thong
