What is a Physical? When one does a sport, the school asks one to get a physical from a doctor. What do they ask you?

The just check blood pressure, weight, height, and check your groin area to make sure your private parts are fine. ]
They used to just take your blood pressure
ask if you felt ok and they let you go.
Now they question you a little more because
to many teen athletes were falling over dead
during practice. It is mostly questions.
I totally disagree with the idea that you
don't have to tell the doctor the truth about
anything. Why would you lie? Something you
feel may be nothing could actually be very
important. All info stays between you and
your doctor. No sense in lying. It only
cheats yourself.
They mainly will want to know things like,
Have you ever had chest pain? Allergies?
History of heart problems? Diabetes? etc... ]
Just ask your mom/dad/whoever to schedule a doctor's appointment for you, and once you get there, ask the doctor if you can have a physical. Your parents and the doc should fill it out. It just lets the school know if you have anything that can keep you from playing the sport [and that it is verified for your doctor]. ]
a physical is just a way to make sure you are healthy enough to be participating in a sport. the doctor will check your body for any physical problems, and then they will ask you some mandatory questions. simple stuff about if you have trouble exercising, if you've had any problems with your body or doing physical activities, etc. then they will ask your parent to leave the room (if theyre with you) and they will ask you if you drink, smoke, are having sex, and stuff like that. you don't have to answer them truthfully, because it won't really make a difference. ]
