I really like this guy at my school; we have a lot in common, we like the same movies and stuff, he's cute and smart and funny, but there is a problem: i'm a year older and like a foot taller than him. he says he doesn't care that i'm older but that it would be too weird dating a girl who's so taller. Everyone says he likes me and i'm graduating this year (it's a middle school) and i don't have time to wait for his growth spurt. I want him to ask me out (preferably before valentine's day). i've promised never to wear high heels, please help!!

I suggest you don't bring up the height thing make it seem like it doesnt bother you at all so it won't bother him. Best of luck [ masterclinic's advice column | Ask masterclinic A Question ]

You don't want to miss a chance with an awesome guy just because of his height and you might regret it later if you don't give him a chance. He'll eventually grow but you don't want to miss out. Just give him a chance and see what happens. [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]
