Volleyball

Question Posted Thursday January 17 2008, 5:27 pm

Ok now at our school we just got a new sport....volleyball. We have already had try-outs and evidentally i made the team so is there any website or anything that has all the rules and everything...but my one big question is when you are serving (we have to over handed) that if you throw it up and get a bad toss catch it and throw it again...what happens??

Thanks in advance any help is appreciated
-Lesha

Your coach should of told you that your not aloud to catch the ball. If you think it is a bad toss then your suppose to let it drop and pick it up and wait for the reff to blow the whistle again. But if i were you i would google the word volleyball. Just search things you arent sure about because the internet has almost everything so you should be able to find what you are looking for.

u just serve it. but u only get 1 bad toss per serve. but dont catch it. if u hav a bad toss let it drop. pick it up, wait for the ref to blow the whistle, then serve it.

Ok well I dont really know of one particular site that would tell you all the rules to the game but just google it and im sure you will be able to find plenty. But with an over hand serve you can make a bad toss only one service round. So if you make a bad toss then let it drop and then just toss it up again. but make it a good one because you can only catch it once. Hope it Helps. & good luck. Volleyball is a very fun sport. Hope you enjoy it as much as i do :)

just google volleyball rules
and if you get a bad toss.
you cant catch it.
you have to let it drop
then you get to go again.
at least thats how it is in my leauge but im pretty sure thats how it always is.
if you catch it then the other team gets the point and the ball

but anyway
good luck on the team :]and your coach will probably go over everything since its your guys like first year playing at your school
