I dont look forward to going to school. I was wondering if there was anything i could do during the week (after school) to look forward to that way i could get through the day easier and look forward to the next day every day.

(I now teach high school English)I was a "smart kid," whatever that means, but I didn't like much about school, I hated homework, and seldom did my work in any class I didn't enjoy. It was my other in-school and after school activities that saved me. I loved art, theater, and creative writing. I acted in, directed, and worked behind the scenes in every way in drama and my love of that is what got me thru. I looked forward to being in those classes and in the plays and art competetions, and I couldn't be involved in those if I didn't keep my grades up, so that was my main motivation to go to school and do my work. Find something you can enjoy at school and get involved in. Most schools have so many interesting elective classes, after school activities, clubs, and organizations that appeal to so many different interests. It all pays off in the long run, I promise. I loved every aspect of college, by the way. It's not like high school, and though I hated most of high school, I had no problem enjoying and excelling in college. Best wishes for your future. I wish you all the luck in the world. Just stick with it, life is so much better after high school! [ genericusername07's advice column | Ask genericusername07 A Question ]

1. Go to the mall with your friends after school. You don't even have to get anything. You could even go and see a movie! :)
2. Join an after school club. Make sure it's something you're intersted in, so you can make friends and have a lot of fun.
3. Perhaps you could have a study party? Invite some friends over, get some snacks, and have a great time!
These are just a few of MY suggestions of course, but there are many other ways too! Be creative and invite some friends, and you'll be looking forward to it the whole day :)
emilyjessica0x answered Wednesday January 2 2008, 9:43 pm: do you have any hobbies? do you like to excercise? do you like to cuddle up + watch a movie w| popcorn + candy? make a day each day of the week to do something fun you like to do, that way you can look forward to it when you wake up in the morning. for example, monday after school- work out, tuesday after school- movie.
