You would know if someone likes you.

1: If someone likes you, look for subtle hints. Like if they like you, they tend to smile at you alot, and they seem to be much more cheerier when you're around them. They like to be close to you, etc.

If you want a good friendship with this person (and it's always a good start) is just to talk to her more. Ask her questions, but questions that are have a lil more answers to them. Such as, : What do you do for fun? or What did you do last weekend? Those type of questions.

If you want to step up them game a little, you can start by asking her if she'd like to go to the movies or just hang out over the weekend, this is a good way to get to know each other better. But you want to just get to know each other so let her know that it's not a date. Or better yet, ask her to go to the movies with a bunch of your friends, or go bowling. A group thing, so it wouldn't feel as awkward, you know?

Hope I helped. :)

okay well first you should ask her 2 hang out just as friends so u could get to know her...

just be friendly but dont be scared 2 be a little flirty

be her friend first , then ask her out to a real bf gf date! and if it works out then you did great

if it doesnt just stay friends wit her! she will like that

Getting to know her better is definitely a good start. Get her number, screenname or message her on myspace/facebook if both of you have one. I would recommend you get her number. You can just straight up ask her or you can start by sayin hi and initiating some small talk before asking her. If you actually talk on the phone, you both are able to express yourself more and it shows more personality and character than reading messages which can be read differently than the way you would have spoken it. Texting and I.M.ing is ok too, but talking is better. You guys will get to know eachother a little more and it would be less awkward to get something to eat together or see a movie. I hope it all works out and that you guys become a couple. If you need anything else I'll help.

The key to starting a relationship is, like you said, getting to know each other. Ask her if she wants to hang out, and that's how you can get to know her. Start talking to her more at school, ask her for her number, text her, whatever. You'll find a way.
