Hello, My name is david, my age is 25, i am masterbuting from last 3 years, my question is that can i be a father because my sperm is like water, i am deeply worried about this, please help me, i am asking it from my deep heart
thelaura answered Wednesday January 2 2008, 4:29 pm: Before you start to worry, remember it could be caused through many different reasons.. not just perhaps having a low sperm count.
It's not odd for it to happen, either and some of the reasons for it happening could be:
Change in diet
Tight trousers/underwear
Too hot
Do you have any other symptoms? STI's should be ruled out, too.
I can tell you it hasn't got anything to do with masturbating, though. It's perfectly normal and healthy for one to masturbate.
My advice to you would be to obviously see a doctor/have a sperm count done to put your mind at ease and find out if there is anything actually wrong.
Good luck, anyway. [ thelaura's advice column | Ask thelaura A Question ]

As for the consistency of your semen, that is something you should discuss with your doctor.
AngelofMercy answered Wednesday January 2 2008, 1:12 pm: Unfortunately, there is no real way to tell by the consistency of your semen. If you are truly concerned, I would go and have a sperm count done at your local doctor. This would clear up any concerns you may have. Also, by doing this, you will know in the future when it comes to settling down and you want to have kids. You will already know if you can or cannot do it. I wouldn't worry though. Just remember, we are not all made from the same mold. We are all unique in our lives and that is what makes us who we are. Watery like semen isn't something I would worry about though. Good Luck.
