How Do I know if a Guy I work with likes me?
I have worked with this guy for over 9 months and we work in different departments. He comes into my department alot to look up stuff for his job and I catch him looking at me often. But when I smile or look back he quickly looks away. He talks to everyone else in my department but me. I am somewhat shy and do not know what to say to him but I really like him. I know he is single because he came to our Work Christmas Party alone and he kept staring at me there too!! If anyone thinks he like me back then what can I say or do to make him talk to me?

You will know when a guy likes you when he finds excuses to be around you and then asks you out. Guys are simple- they see something they want and they go after it if they are available to do so. Attractive females are a dime a dozen and while this one guy is the focal point of your attention, he is probably attracted to many females.
I would simply go up to him in a casual way and introduce yourself. Perhaps that will lead to getting to know him better and you'll have a better idea if he's even interested enough to ask you any questions about yourself. If not, move on.

You are both too old for these unclear signals. He should approach you. I have had stuttering shy guys run to make a move before someone else did. You dont want someone who just stares at you. Shy, Shmy.. no such thing if he really likes you. Move on.

i think he does like you.. he's probably really shy to talk to you. maybe you should try making the first move and say hi, and see how obvious it is from there.. LOL

I think he likes you but doesn't know how to approach you. He is probably shy or scared to make the first move. I would suggest going up to him and saying, Hi, I'm blank and go from there. Good Luck!

Uhh, well, I don`t know.
He could be staring at you cause...
A) He wants to talk to you but he can`t think of what to say or is too nervous.
B) He thinks your pretty or something.
C) I dunno. He could just be weird.
But personally, I think it`s A. =]
Haha. Well, he doesn`t seem too shy, unless he`s around you. So, that probably means he likes you. I`m not really sure if there`s a way you can make HIM talk to YOU. I think you`ve gotta talk to him first, cause for some reason, he`s way too nervous to talk to you. & since your shy, that`s probably hard cause you don`t wanna make yourself feel like an idiot. The next time you catch him looking at you when he comes to your department, just smile & ask him if you can help him find whatever it is that he`s looking for. Then you can help him & just introduce yourself from there.
