Okay my period is a bit..odd. I have had it for a year and a half now, so it should be regular right? well I do get it regularly but its just not every 28 days. It's about every 40 days really. I dont have any other symptoms or anything. Is this normal? I mean i never really skip a period, There is just a long time in between them.
Additional info, added Monday December 31 2007, 2:41 am: so for instance if my period started on like the 23rd of a month, then the next month I would not get one and the month after that it would start on about the 5th or something. I was told by my doctor that my period will be irregular for a while but eventually it will just get into place. Nothing to worry about:)Though if you notice a change or there is something wrong you should definetly go see a doctor, but if not, than you have nothing to worry about:)

infatuatedxxglamour answered Monday December 31 2007, 4:34 pm: Completely normal. Some people don't even out for 3 years after their period. I've had my period for almost 3 years, and its still screwy a lot of the time. When I talked to my doctor about it, she said that it was totally normal and just to keep a schedule of when I got my period and when it ended, and to show it to her next physical. Some people never even out, and that could be me. But, since its only been a year and a half for you, you definitely have nothing to worry about.
Stephi-Giles answered Monday December 31 2007, 12:21 pm: My friend has this problem , it's not bad , it just means your body is slow and your period only comes around 1 time in 2 cycles , so you're fine.
Theres nothing wrong with you . [ Stephi-Giles's advice column | Ask Stephi-Giles A Question ]

Visiting your gynocologist for a check-up never hurts. You should go regularly anyway.
