I'm sorry, but I totally disagree with the other columnists.
If I were in your position, I wouldn't bother. Surely if he wanted you as his girlfriend, he would be with you. Not her.
It's the type of thing you'd say to someone who was single. Not in a relationship, as it's just plain out of order. [ thelaura's advice column | Ask thelaura A Question ]
icey0990 answered Sunday December 30 2007, 5:45 pm: EDIT: afterr reading one of the columnists answers, i thought i would clarify something. i do not beleive in breaking people up, because i have been through that, girls coming between me and someone i was serious with. HOWEVER, I do feel it is ok to let someone know how you feel, because you will live with regret
not knowing what would have happened if you let him know.
there is nothing wrong with telling someone how you feel. i do not agree with constant flirting and trying to convince the person to break it off with their bf or gf. like i said before, letting someone know you still have feelings isnt a terrible thing. just let it be known, and let him make his choice
you can drop some hints such as asking him..
-do you ever think about getting back together?
-do you think it was a mistake breaking up?
and just talking about the good memories or cute times might spark somethin between you two.
if you want to make things really clear, you can tell him you think it was a mistake breaking up with him and you have been thinking about him a lot. [ icey0990's advice column | Ask icey0990 A Question ]
