i quit smoking and i don't drink caffeine what so ever.. my teeth are a bit yellow and i really want to whiten them.. what is the best way? i have a couple of fillings at the back that don't really show. and my teeth are generally in good health. any recommendations? oh and i just moved cities so i don't have a fixed dentist i am going to visit cosmetic dental clinics until i get one...
Additional info, added Thursday December 27 2007, 10:04 pm: i tried those :s thats why i am looking for professional help... they aren't soooo yellow but they aren't white... i was wondering if any one knows about the different methods doctors will be using??
orphans answered Thursday December 27 2007, 4:39 pm: Crest white strips really work, so i hear. I have not tried them, because i have braces, but when i get them off i am going to! But some of my friends have tied different kinds, like i think there is also like colgate, and some liquid stuff which i have heard is EXTREMELY enoying. Point is they say that Crest is the best! Brandi_S answered Thursday December 27 2007, 4:19 pm: If your teeth are stained from smoking, the best way of getting the stains removed is by having the dentist do it once you find one.
Coffee, tea, and tobacco stain your teeth bad, as I'm sure you know. (I know I do, too.)
You can try over the counter whitening products, but I think you will end up finding out with tobacco stains, it really can be a waste of your money.
Then again, you may have better luck than me.
