I'm 15 and I usually don't wear any makeup but when I do I only wear some eyeliner and mascara. I wanna get more though. What kinds of stuff should I buy? i was in sephora yesterday and there's so much nice stuff but I don't know what to get. I would like it if I could get some advice from girls about my age b/c I want to wear what's in style and nothing too crazy. I have dark brown hair, blue eyes, and a light complexion. If you could just give me some tips and tell me what you do and what brands to get, that would be great! Pictures would be nice too.

I use clinique foundation, with powder over it and a small amount of blush and or mac bronzer. Since i turn red really easily i use very little blush and sometimes none and its a darkish color. Then almay has eyeshadow and eye makeup for certain colored eyes, and when i wear that i always get compliments about my eyes and when i dont wear that i wear like a mauve color or just a really pretty brown with mascara and eyeliner along my top lashline. Ask if you have any questions =]

My boyfriend keeps saying I look good since I'm not wearing makeup anymore XD Also, Covergirl is great brand for blush. Their eyeshadow is pretty good as well.
So orange eyeshadow looks great with blue eyes. It really brings it out. Almay has a set for blue eyes.
I've tried the one for brown eyes and it's amazing. My eyes are really dark.. so I'm sure you'll stand out twice as more.
I wouldn't buy anything in sephora yet. It's a bit too expensive and you should be familiar with affordable brands first. An eyeshadow set is like $30 something there. You could buy one at a drug store for like $7. Just make your way up so once you're familiar with makeup and what looks great on you.. it would be easy to go out and buy sephora or mac makeup without hesitation.
My favorite mascaras by covergirl:
Fantastic Lash
Triple Mascara
So Covergirl and Maybelline are great brands. You could go to a makeup department and I'm sure they could do your makeup for you.
Just make it as natural as possible.. I've seen many girls with caked on makeup and it's just horrible. You shouldn't be able to see a powdery look from a few feet away. You should try a little blush and a light orange eyeshadow. I'm not sure what's in style where you live but over here.. it's bright eyeshadow colors and really dark eyeliner/long lashes to a natural look.
TheAnnie answered Tuesday December 25 2007, 11:07 am: somethings i do;
i mix lotion and coverup (so it looks more natural and because i hate the powedered look)
put a soft blush n your cheeks going to and over your nose (this also makes it look natural)
for lips i just put on some soft lipgloss
btw I use Avon products, they are really great
heres the link to their website [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
avon isnt that expensive and most of the time the deals are great
also experiment yourself because thats the only way youll see what looks best on you :) [ TheAnnie's advice column | Ask TheAnnie A Question ]

Eyes: Max Factor 2000 Calorie mascara-black and Max Factor colour perfection Eyeliner (applied only on my eye lids, right on the line where my eyelashes start
Skin: L'ORÉAL True Match (W5 Sable Doré Golden Sand)
Rouge: IsaDora (07 Soft Peach)
Lips: regular lipbalm
And that's it :D!
Well that's for day-makeup.
If I was going to a party I would have all od the above, but a bit more of everything, including eyeliner all around my eyes and a light pink-ish eyeshadow and Pink lipgloss
Make up was ment for hiding flaws & all that. You want to do your mascara & eyeliner as well as a flesh / beige colour eye shadow and a rosey blush.Cover up and lip gloss , if you want.
Maybe mix some brown / natural colours in with your eye shadow.
Some good brands are Cover Girl , Maybaleen[sp?] , or anything along those lines ... They are also not so expensive.
Also , if you're looking for a more out there look or a more teen colours look type thing , try a deep purple or pink and a clear gloss with some red toned blush. and a coloured eyeliner or mascara.
