scholarships I have a meeting with my school counselor. I want to ask him about scholarship opportunities in our area, but I get nervous really easily. Does anyone know of any questions I can at least start out with? or any essential information I should get from him? thank so much

The only place I know that is absolutely legit, is the Princeton Review. You'll have to start an account, but trust me, it's worth it and it's free and easy - very quick, too. It tells you ALL about college information, high school..just everything you need to know. And yes, that includes scholarships. Once you start an account, there will be a place to find out about scholarships. ]
You should just ask any question that comes to mind. He is your guidance counsler & that is his job. Here's a website-
www.fastweb.com
It's a scholarship site. You fill out information about yourself & they send your emails with possible scholarships you can apply for. They also have essay contests for money & what not. If you browse the site, you'll probably have questions to ask. Maybe how to go about it & what you can do for the future. You could also ask about the site itself & if he knows of any others.
-hope that helped!♥ ]
