Question Posted Thursday November 22 2007, 10:18 am

16/F
I'm due to get my period at the worst possible time! I'll be on a two-day class trip and we'll be going to a theme park. How can I prevent my period from coming? =/

You cant stop your period from coming. However, you can make the fact that you're having one less descreet. Use tampons rather than sanitary towels. Towels tend to smell a little.

Well, if you're afraid of leakage, wear a super tampon, and super pad. Change the tampon every three to four hours (or at least as often as you can). The pad will soak up the leakage if you have any. If you get cramps, bring whatever meds work for you, I recomend Iboprufen (sp?)

but, you CAN wear tampons.
they really do help. just wear a super, and you won't have to change it as often.

There is no way to prevent your period from coming or almost every female wouldn't have a period. Just bring tampons/pads alot of extra too.

You can't.
Just be prepared - take enough pads/tampons and don't let it ruin the fun.
