Anorexia and Rights

In the United States, if a girl has anorexia & she is under the age of 18, what is her rights?? Does she have to be admitted or can she choose?? any info on this?? ideas/opinions?? thanks!

I may be wrong, but I think in a case like that, even if the girl is over 18, the parents can have her proved mentally unfit and make such choices for her.
Why? Because it is really a mental disorder. A person with anorexia is honestly killing themselves and can't even see it.
Under 18, said girl is still a minor child, so the parents make those decisions.

I think when it comes to that, the girls parents would choose bc the doctors will find the girl unstable to choose for her own. I hope I helped=D
