Sweetie, how old are you?
Hmmm.. You should tell your mom that you have sex.
I know you think im crazy (and I never wanted to tell my mom but my sister did and that was bad at first but now its alright... I want birthcontrol also but I dont have a boyfriend and she believes im not having sex anymore) but you have a boyfriend and she should respect your desision...
Sit her down and say "Mom, im not a virgin and im having sex with _____. I want birthcontrol so I can be smart about my sex life and not get pregnant."
Hope I helped...

Birth Control pills can not only stop pregnancy, or make periods more regular, they can also make the cramps that come with periods a lot easier to deal with as they take away an awful lot of the pain.

You could go to google.com and search for the nearest Planned Parenthood. I went and they gave me a 13 months supply of a birth control pill called Lutera. It's completely free if you're under the age of 18, and they won't tell your parents. It isn't necessary for you to have an exam to get it. You show up, they take your blood pressure and give you your pills. Of course they tell you a little bit about them and stuff, but other than that you'd be out of there in a half hour tops.

To go with the person below me, that pill is called Seasonale (www.seasonale.com).

However, your parents do not need to know/approve you going on birth control. If you go into a free clinic (search google maps for free clinics near your area), they are required to honor your requests if you ask them not to talk to your parents. All you need to do is answer some questions and maybe get a physical and you can get a perscription for the pill.

you can try asking for the birth control that gives you shorter and less periods. tell your mom that getting your period all the time along wtih school and everything else is stressing you out, so you want the kind that makes you get only like four periods a year or something like that. i don't know if it'll work, but it just might.
