i had a urinary tract infection and my doctor gave me this powder to put into a class of water three times a day, and it finally went away. it was gone for about a month and a half when it's returned. i know it's said that urinary tract infections can come back but i'm nervous that this is a serious problem because it's too soon.

It isn't at all uncommon for this to happen.
Doesn't mean there is anything more going on.
Call your doctors office on Monday and talk to his/her nurse. Tell her you were in recently for
a UTI, tell her what the doc gave you for it, and
tell her it was gone for a while but your symptoms are back. The doctor may simply call you in a new prescription for something else since you were seen not so long ago. :) [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
