Do you hate sports?

Question Posted Wednesday November 7 2007, 6:34 pm

I was wondering if there's anyone else who hates sports. I feel like I'm the only one. I haaaate going to any sports events but all of my friends love it. Gah! I mean I know it's to socialize, but I can do that elsewhere..

Well anyway, if you hate sports too, why? :)

I don't exactly hate sports. I dislike watching them - it's just so boring. Even though I have asthma and I'm not good at sports, I like to play anyways because it's more fun that sitting on your ass.

Well, I am not good at sports, haven't ever been, hopefully will be some day. But my friends are sports fanatics. They play field hockey, softball, etc. I personally love to play them, but am just not very good. All I can tell you is that people like to take out energy and get into the competition. It's human nature to want to fight and compete. It gives a chance to bring everyone together. If you're not strong or athletic, you can cheer, or just support from the sidelines. Look at it this way; you dislike sports, but others may dislike what you consider fun. They can ask themselves the same question: Why does everyone like (fill in blank)? It's boring and I can socialize in other places." Try to have fun at sporting events, and accept that different people like different things. Hope this helps you understand.

I DISLIKE sports for a slightly different reason. I personally am not good at sports, therefore I don't enjoy playing them.. but watching them is slightly different. Sure- they can get boring- but sometimes its nice to just sit back and watch other people do the work.. haha.

I love socializing at sports games.. like for my high school =D.
