Ok so... my cousin moved to his adds apartment in san fransico from brazil last winter (his mom and sister still live in brazil). On the 15th his mom got a him a ticket to go back brazil because his dad said he didnt want him anymore (yeah i knowits sad) howeverl i NEED to see him before he leaves because otherwise i will porbably never see him again (his mom wont lwt him back to the states) and i live in michigan. I asked my parents if i coudld go this weekend and they said no. I cant take no as an asnwer, how can i get there without my parents? pleasee give me rational answers this is really important to me

Elle2619 answered Friday November 9 2007, 7:53 am: I can see where your coming from, It seems your obviously close with your cousin and your worried about not seeing him, however i'm sure their will be chances in the future, there must be some reason why your parents said no whether it be a money factor or something else there is obviously a reason and it wouldn't be a good idea to go behind there back plus i don't think there is any alternative way of getting there without your parents permission. Once your old enough theres nothing saying you can't go visit him. You will be able to contact him through letter, emails and telephone calls. Time is running out but you could take another shot at talking to your parents about it and expressing why you really want to go.

Besides the fact that if you're under 18 traveling alone without authorization from your parents is illegal, there is no cheap way for you to get there. You would have to buy a plane ticket to get there quickly, or take the bus which would take a few days each direction and still be fairly expensive.
