how to write a summary

so i forgot how to write a summary and i have to read a small, smallll article on something inparticular and write a summary about it, what do i say?

You write what the article was about, but keep the main points in tact.

You want to pick out the main arguments or points that were made in the article and just write a little bit about each one. All a summary is, is a report about what was in the article you read. It's not difficult at all.
