Aughhhh! Cramps

is it normal to have cramps to the side of your belly button as a result of your period? cause i thought that was too high for menstrual cramps. but its on my left side so it cant be appendicitis right? thanks so much and i will rate you all for your helpful posts!!!

Actually, appendicitis pains are on the left, even though the appendix is on the right side of the body. Mine burst a few years back, so I've gone through it.

Chances are, if the pains are pretty subtle, you do not have appendicitis. Menstrual cramps seem more likely, especially if you're on your period. I get cramps in my back from it, so it's different from person to person. The muscles just cramp up so tight sometimes that it effects the surrounding environment as well.

It affects people differently, so having pains a bit higher than you normally would does seem alright. Don't panic and if the pain doesn't subside in a few days, talk to your doc.

menstral cramping is painful and pain can travel threw your body to other parts its normal to have cramping anywhere in your abdomin if your on your period or been sick or coughing
