If you're sexually active then you most definitly should. Guys hate pubes. If shaving doesn't mork for you you should get nair, a bunch of my friends use that and it works amazingly, doesn't leave it red like shaving does. Hope I helped!

well, since you've already shaven i'm sure it's not so long you can like..grab onto it. but thats the first step for people, cut the majority of it off with a scissors lol i know it sounds weird... now for you, since you get irritated easily (which is what happens to everyone all the time but especially the first 5 or so times you shave), put lotion on a couples times a day prior to when you shave. then once in the shower, put foamy soap all over and shave DOWN..the way the hair grows to get most of it off. then you can "fine tune things" and shave normally. rinse off, put more soap on then lotion once more after getting out. only rub down, not up

i went through the same thing . i got little red bumps on the upper part & it soemtimes iched . but before you shavee it . let the hairs atleast get a little longer , because the shorter the hairs thats just the deeper the blade is gonig to have to go , & make sure its totaly covered with soap . it soothes the skin and makes it a lot easier :)

It's really a personal preference, I don't think it's a good idea. Just because the hair down there helps keep the bacteria away, and actually keeps it clean down there.

You don't HAVE to do it. If you don't want to shave it all, trim it. Itchy regrowth/irritation is normal with areas like that because it's sensitive. If you want to shave it all, take it slow and apply some sort of shaving gel (being careful not to get it inside!) Gel soothes as you shave. Make sure your razor is sharp. Afterwards, put on some lotion for after shaving to stop any irritation. If you look around in stores, they will have huge varieties.
You should get used to it if you do it more and it won't get so irritated.
If shaving just doesn't seem to be working for you, look into other methods, such as creams and waxing.
Remember, don't think it's something you have to do. Do it for yourself. Noone else ;)
