why do some people always say that they are bored when they are hanging out with you? isnt that offensive.. doesnt it mean that theyre the boring person bc if they want something to be unboring they should make it fun
Serene answered Sunday October 28 2007, 10:20 pm: Yes it is offensive! generally people find things boring if they just arent "clicking" with wateva is goin on...however, there are days that are just plain boring!! but no person is boring, just different is all. If you feel that a little self-reconstruction is in order try "7 habbits for Highly Efficient Teens" by Sean Covey... its a good one! ;D [ Serene's advice column | Ask Serene A Question ]

2 boring people can't possible be interesting when around each other. If 1 person is interesting, and the other is dull, then a conversation, or activity can become boring because its hard for 1 person to be interesting all the time. If they have nothing in common, or their personalities clash it might be harder to have fun around each other, no matter how hard each of them try.
Yes it is VERY rude to say someone is boring, uninteresting, or show signs of it by ignoring them, or not really paying attention. It hurts peoples self esteem, a lot. [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
beckyboo answered Saturday October 27 2007, 10:57 pm: I'd take it more as an insult, that they were saying you were boring. It's pretty much saying that you can't keep them entertained or think of anything interesting to do or say. Rarely do they mean that they think they are boring themselves.
