Question Posted Wednesday October 17 2007, 6:36 pm

hey. im normally a really outgoing girl, but whenever im around my crush i totally freak out, and i cant think of anything to say ! its so annoying. he will be standing next to me, and i will just stand there too. i dont want him to think im not interested, because i really am.

so what are some good topics to talk about, or what would you do?

omg i had this same problem with my love but he would lead the conversations and eventually i got more used to being around him without being shy if you have to email him text him or instint message him then you should do that or swallow your gut and tell him

I have the same problem! So, I totally understand! But really, just try to be yourself, because if you present yourself how you normally are, it's soo much more likely he'll fall for you.

Have confidence, giggle and smile at him, and let one topic lead to another and another.

I remember when I was younger and this happened to me. Things worked out for me even though I was really shy and an idiot!
Just try to keep calm. Think about what you say because sometimes when you're nervous, you can blurt out any old rubbish.
It gets easier once you get past the stage where you push yourself to talk to him.
It's important to remain eye contact when you're chatting and to smile.
Things you could say:
*Ask him how he is, what he's up to etc.
*Take an interest in something he's wearing for example and ask where he got it.
*Is he in any of your classes? Ask about homework.
Try to chat to him as often as you can, even if it small talk. It will build up eventually.
I know it's scary at first. It'll get better! When it does, you can ask him to hang out. Who knows, he may ask you first ;)

well im normally a really outgoing girl and my crush i just got sick of people teasing me about it and him not knowing so i just told him. it depends on how much guts you got though. you cant help but get tounge tied around a crush. they are holding your heart in the palm of your hand and can do with it what ever they want. you can take a chance and tell them yourself or you could start up a conversation, which you asked for topics. Maybe you could start up a conversation about something going on at school. something like a new club or a class or something like that. hope i helped!
