is it normal for a guy friend to take you out to dinner on your birthday if he's romantically interested in someone else and you and this guy aren't dating?
LagunaBabe answered Wednesday October 17 2007, 10:11 am: Absolutely. I have a guy who's my best friend in the whole world and he would definitely do that for me. And he has a girlfriend, who's also one of my best friends. So yes, it's perfectly ok. =) [ LagunaBabe's advice column | Ask LagunaBabe A Question ]

Mackenzie answered Wednesday October 17 2007, 12:50 am: I absolutely do not see anything wrong with it. A friend of mine very recently took me to dinner and a movie for my birthday, and I have a boyfriend of a few years who wasn't present. I thought it was an incredibly generous treat. I wouldn't worry about it. No harm done. :) [ Mackenzie's advice column | Ask Mackenzie A Question ]
