why is it that sometimes when i type "<3" it makes the actualy heart, and sometimes it doesnt?

what i've found is that when you put a space after the <3 shape, it turns to an actual heart. i have no idea why but that's what happened when i was doing my about me section. <3

Sorry, I'm not sure because I've done that too. I'm guessing that there's something going on if Facebook's files that makes it do that.

On Facebook it doesn't work for me.. if I type "<3 yo" the heart gets squished next to the yo like ♥yo. If you copy and paste this heart directly into the textbox rather than typing <3 in it, that would work: ♥

it depends on diffrent websites, documents and that type of thing. Alot of doc. and sites wont do it cuz its a image thing but others will. Also make sure your not putting a big space between the
< and the 3
<3 alsso thats the thing right there. some sites make the three diffrent, they come with their own writing style, and some sites make it a bit off
