Lying about your age is dumb. Just tell him the truth because if you lie, he'll find out & then he really won't like you.

Just be yourself. There's no reason to lie.

Don't say you're 17, because it'll be SO awkward when he finds out you're not. And believe me, he'll probably find out.
Good luck, and don't rely on age, rely on charm!

NO!! Do not lie about your age.
haha I've done that before and it has a way of catching up to you.
Especially if it’s your friend’s brother.
Plus saying you’re one year older won’t make that much of a difference, so there is no point in lying about it.
Just be yourself and I’m sure you guys will have a great time =]

NO. relationships are based on trust. it's not good to start a friendship that you would like to become a relationship with a lie. especially cos this guy is your brother's friend. because of that, most likely, he'll find out. just show him your true self. if he doesn't like you for who you are, he's not worth it.

Just if you want to hook up with him for like a one night stand ok fine do that, but if you want him to like you for who you are dont tell him your 17. Keep his maine focus on you and be fun and sweet and if he is itersted he will do the same:) Hope i helped

Of course you shouldn't lie about your age!
There are no positive consequences to lying. For every lie you tell you have to tell at least two more to cover it up... What if he wants to go see a rated R movie together? You're not old enough to buy a ticket and he's not old enough to buy more than one... There's a problem already..

It just isn't worth it. He shouldn't care about your age when hanging out with you. One of my best friends is 21 and I'm only 16 (although a senior in high school and I'll be 17 in less than a month...)

Age is just a number and will remain only that. All it proves is how long you've been alive, nothing more. He should like you for you, not for any other reason.

Lying is immature, irresponsible, and not liked by anyone. Don't do it, it's not worth it. One year wouldn't make a difference anyway.

In short:
Don't lie. It'll only cause problems in the future. Lying about 1 year is hardly going to make a difference anyway.
It's not all about age you know. It's how you act :)
Be yourself and you'll be fine!
