Foundsoul answered Monday October 15 2007, 7:41 am: At 14, there is only a 3 year age difference which doesnt seem a lot. However, there will be people who find your age difference somewhat worrying. I don't know where you live, but where I live, it would be highly frowned upon especially if he relationship got sexual (which would also be illegal and the 17 year old boy could actually be imprisoned for statutary rape.
At the end of the day, if you like this boy and he likes you nothing anyone here or in your life could say would make a difference. You can't change how you feel for a person. But take things slowly. Don't rush into anything you feel you may regret later. [ Foundsoul's advice column | Ask Foundsoul A Question ]
missbananafontana answered Saturday October 13 2007, 7:26 pm: It depends. I know most 17-year-old boys are more interested in lust instead of love, so I would suggest you try and stick to your own age group, just so you don't get hurt. If you want to try the relationship in a couple years, if it would still work, I would be all for it. Hope I helped. [ missbananafontana's advice column | Ask missbananafontana A Question ]
