It can be. He might only want something you wouldn't be able to give him, and chances are he'll use you for it & leave.

I'd get with a guy your age.

At 14, there is only a 3 year age difference which doesnt seem a lot. However, there will be people who find your age difference somewhat worrying. I don't know where you live, but where I live, it would be highly frowned upon especially if he relationship got sexual (which would also be illegal and the 17 year old boy could actually be imprisoned for statutary rape.

At the end of the day, if you like this boy and he likes you nothing anyone here or in your life could say would make a difference. You can't change how you feel for a person. But take things slowly. Don't rush into anything you feel you may regret later.

It depends. I know most 17-year-old boys are more interested in lust instead of love, so I would suggest you try and stick to your own age group, just so you don't get hurt. If you want to try the relationship in a couple years, if it would still work, I would be all for it. Hope I helped.

Its kind of a big age difference right now, but it wont be in years. but you can do whatever youd like.
