It's cold.

Question Posted Saturday October 13 2007, 11:11 am

[Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

I just bought this costume for Halloween, and then I realized that at the end of October, at night, it's going to be freezing and I need to cover up.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can layer myself so that I'm warm, but it doesn't change the whole costume? I was thinking of wearing thick socks under the stockings, etc. I don't want to wear, for example, a hoodie over it because then the whole costume is changed.

Thanks so much in advance.

Rebecca? You're mom said to wear stockings, but when she said that I was thinking "how's that gonna help?"
(If it's not Rebecca...just ignore that, and I'm sorry.)

You should definitely do the socks under stockings thing, and try wearing a skin-tight 3/4 sleeve white shirt under it. That would look as if it were part of the costume.

Also, I just find it funny that people are telling you to get cardigans and sweatshirts, even though you specifically said that it would cover the costume. *shrug*

I know exactly what you mean about the coldness. But i do love that outfit! It is MEGA cool.
I think that you should wear a thick pair of socks under the stockings. I think that you could also mabe wear a white cardigain [Because white goes ect] and i think that will look good. You should be able to find cheap ones of these so search around and you'll find a bargain.
Good Luck. =]

Can you wear a long sleeveshirt under it? I don't think it would take away from the coustume too much. Just make sure it's a color that doesn't jump too much, such as black or white.

Haha. thats a cute costume. You can go to a thrift store, and they usually have ratty sweater jackets, and also the thick socks are a good idea too. Good luck, and have fun:]
