I think you should just go to the salon and get them done. In my town, it only costs 5 dollars, so it is probably not that different. It doesnt really matter the way you part your hair, but i like it when it is parted down the side a little, then the bangs are on the opposite side.
good luck:D [ ASAPcamille's advice column | Ask ASAPcamille A Question ]

I tried giving myself sidebangs and it worked out ok I guess, but if you dont want to mess up your hair then I would suggest that. If you need to ask me anymore ?'s feel free to ask me.
christina answered Saturday October 13 2007, 2:33 am: I would listen to the person below me. Getting sidebangs for the first few times should be something done by a professional. Once you watch them do it a few times, I would try it. I don't ever really go to a professional when I cut my bangs. They know what they're doing, but I know the length I want my bangs & I can usually get it right.
However, they're pros & I'm not, so I would go to them your first time; esepcially because you don't know what to do. You might fuck it up, and then you'll be really pissed & regret it. So yes, a professional the first time is more than likely the best for you. [ christina's advice column | Ask christina A Question ]
IThasJUSTbegun answered Saturday October 13 2007, 2:01 am: NO! to personal experience do not do it on your own! expsecially since this is your first time ever doing side bangs and such, it will end up in a straight line and messed up and nothing how you wanted it to me. So go to a hairdresser and they will do it, don't do it on your own, its much much easier just to go to a hairdresser. Because once you mess up on hair you can't do much about it.
