This is because the friction between the condoms makes tearing much more likely. If a condom tears, it's not a reliable or safe method to prevent pregnancy or STDs.
so-confused answered Tuesday October 2 2007, 10:48 pm: well if you use more than one condom, it is easier for it to break, i know that cause i went to a sex class over the summer they aid its not any safer because it make hem break easier, so i wouldnt do that if i were you, plus using 2 probaly take alot of feeling out! Cherry_Blow_Pop answered Tuesday October 2 2007, 4:42 pm: No it is not because the rubber against rubber motion will cause friction and cause one or both condoms to break. The safter of the two is the male condom. Women who want extra birth control should go on the pill or use spermicide.
It's like using 2 condoms at once - it actually makes MORE damage and increases pregnancy risk.
For now, one or the other used CORRECTLY will be all you need.
If you want to be doubly protected, I suggest another form of birth control (pill/injection etc). [ thelaura's advice column | Ask thelaura A Question ]
