I'm about the same proportions (although I weight the same amount), and I'm 19.

Don't pay any attention to the BMI, because it's geared towards a certain body type. People like us girls have a bigger bone structure than others, and that's just fine!

As for above the knee skirts, I always steer clear of miniskirts, but if it comes to just above or just below the knee, it's really flattering. Look for something that is fitted at the hips, and flares out just above the bottom.

Telling us your size in jeans/skirts won't help us since we can't play guessing games with your weight. If you told us your weight, we could probably help you better.

Since you know your weight & height, go to a health site & calculate your BMI. You can find a BMI calcalator basically anywhere.
only search advicenators.com

It'll tell you if you're overweight or not & what to do about it.

Well, You are a little bit over weight, But most kids are at your age, Some hormones change.
Though it's not always hormones maybe, You arent active enough or maybe you eat to many sweets. Try going for a walk every night, And try not to eat snacks between meals, Unless its fruit. Also, Muscle weighs more than fat

Age.

Hi! Ok, Im not gonna lie. I think you are kinda fat. Im not sure how much you weigh but it does sound like you are a bit heavier. Im 13 and I wear a size 2/4 My old clothes are 4's because my mom doesn't want tme to out grow them but i can still fit my 2's clothes really well. Now I am on the skinnier side so don't think im an average because im not. Of my bffs i weigh the least. A lot of my friends (most of them) weigh at least a little above me. some only by a couple pounds a couple by like 10 or a little more. But also im only 5'3 and i weigh 113. I am trying to lose weight and tone my body and I suggest you do the same. You can make your body look like whatever you want it to look like. Right now im working on mostly flattening my belly and getting rid of the fat on my hips. These are my problem areas. lol plus my thighs. And i lift a little weight to improve my arm muscles. Running is a really good way to excersice. It helps with so many different things. If you have any more questions just send me an note in my inbox! :D ♥♥♥

You can't really go by what your size is. All stores are a bit different & same thing with everyone's bone structure. Just because you're in a larger size, that doesn't mean it's fat. It can be the structure of your bones or just extra muscle. You didn't put your weight either, & that is how you can tell if you are overweight or not.

Go to that website & type in your height & weight. A number will come up in the box. Check out the side chart. Anywhere from 18.5-24.9 is good. That means you're at your correct weight or close to it. It's average. If you are under 18.5, you're underweight & if you are over 24.9 or in the 24.9-29.9 range, you're overweight. If you are 30+ you are obese. Don't stress out about this though. For a more correct reading, you should find out your body fat percentage.

You can also go to a doctor or even a nutritionist to find out more information. If you're happy with the way you look, who cares about what anyone else thinks. Plus, your family & friends most likely wouldn't lie to you. Just ask for their honest opinions. If you think you're fat, try to lose weight by diet & exercise. If you think you're fine the way you are, stay that way. Whatever you think about yourself is more important than anyone else's opinion of your appearance.

-hope that helped!♥
