So there's this guy.. I call him my best friend. We're kinda dating but not, because he's going away to basic training in a few weeks. He told me he didn't want a girlfriend while he was away because he didn't want to worry about what they were doing, hence us not being together. Anyways, it hasn't hit me about him leaving yet, but I know it will soon. I was just wondering what are some things I could do to keep myself busy and not think about him so much while he's gone? I don't have too many friends to really hang out with & keep me busy, but I definately don't want to be stuck at home all depressed. Thanks!

Forget about him obviously if he really loved you he would wanted a relationship with you but it turns out he is not.Don't let a man get you down girl go out and make some friends and find a new man some who will love and cherish you. Maybe he wasn't right for you. My saying is "Everything happens for a reason". "When one door shuts another one opens". When you go out and make new friends and find a new man then when he comes home he will see you having fun and not thinking about you then he will try to get you back but then it will be to late. Because when that happens you would have already moved on with your life. [ tbartley21's advice column | Ask tbartley21 A Question ]
