15. 5"9 160 pounds
ive been running and exercising for most of the summer for at least 1 hour each day AND i ate NOTHING but healthy foods and drank NOTHING but water, with a treat every weekend or so. but i dont feel or see the weight loss..and this week i was so frustrated with lack of results i just ate everything i saw..and then i went out and bought like 3 jumbo ice creams and ate them all..and then i went to walmart and bought and ate a lot and lot of candy (m&ms mostly, hah) and now i feel so FAT! every time i feel my thighs touch i just feel awkward and hateful of my body. (which is totally not healthy. i know)
sooo..do you think I could lose 5 pounds by the time school starts (sept 5. 3 weeks from now.)? That's about 2 pounds a week..i feel like losing 5 pounds will really up my morale to getting my weight goal of 140 pounds by the end of this year. i'll have only 15 pounds to go and 3 months to do it.
oh and what are some exercises i could do to speed up the weight loss? besides running, that is.
Endivisual answered Sunday August 19 2007, 3:58 pm: food that involve lots of protein can help.
if you eat food that include carb (like sugar), your body's gonna wanna burn that first instead of the fat. so, eat more protein than carb.
food that involve protein are.. chicken..steak... etc (search for more lol)
and if you wanna lose weight as fast you want to, then, eat protein bars or ask a guy at a store called GMC. that's a store for athletic people or people that's trying to lose weight. [ Endivisual's advice column | Ask Endivisual A Question ]

Don't be sad because you don't think you're losing weight. Go back to eating healthy and exercising. Instead of running, try walking. If you can get to a gym, try the elliptical (sp?). It really works out you're quads and thighs. Also, try Special K. Replace breakfast and dinner with it. Eat something healthy and light like a salad for lunch. Special K seriously worked for me. I lost weight and it tastes really good. So execise, drink water, and eat healthy. If you're stressed, it's much harder for your body to lose weight. Feel good about losing weight. Just think when you're exercising, "I'm going to lose weight. I'm going to have a great body and be healthy." If you have a positive mind set, you can definately lose weight. In 3 weeks, you may even lose 6 or 7 pounds. But remember, when you lose that weight, that doesn't mean go back to eating junk food or anything like that. Because you can easily gain weight back. Weight loss is a change in lifestyle, improving your life wit healthy food and exercise. Good luck :) [ footballchick2's advice column | Ask footballchick2 A Question ]

to tone the flab you say is in the insid of your thighs do squats. like have your the heels of your feet touching or close to touching and squat down.
then to tone the outside of your thighs, grab a chair from behind [so the back is facing you] and lift you right leg up as far as you can, then your left leg, then right, etc.
and i think it was to tone up your behind and it should help your thighs too is lunges. if you don't know what those are you like bend one knee so it touches the ground and the other knee is up. you repeat that switching your knees.
i would just do like maybe 5 reps of 10 each or so.
i hope that atleast helps with yuor thighs. i don't know why you aren't losing weight becasue by what you said it sounds like you should have [well besides the junk food]. your metabolism could just be really slow, you could try the docter maybe they could help you?
