I am also scared that i won't have my lunch period with any of my friends and i will be stuck with people i dont know sophmores, juniors and seniors. I dont really know where the buses will be and i just cant relax. I know i will have trouble sleeping tonight so if anyone can help me, thanks so much! :)

Get a map of the school. And don't be afraid to ask teachers for help.

My first day of freshman year I felt that same exact way! I was freaking out.. especially since my school is HUGE. Get to school a little early just to make sure you can find your first class etc... that will make you less nervous. I'm sure you will find someone in your first class you can walk with the your next.. the first few days are tough getting used to a knew schedule and finding patterns to get used to.. but after 2 or 3 days you'll be totally fine. Think of it this way.. everyone is going through the same thing you are whether they admit they are scared or not!.. you'll be fine!! good luck with highschool!<3

Don't even worry about it.

When you worry, you blow every little thing out of proportion, which is definitely not something you want to do.

You'll make new friends, even if they're just the ones that you'll hang out with at school, but, you wouldn't invite them over.

But you're bound to have at least one class with you're friends.

High school isn't really that big of a deal. It seems scary because you're a freshman. I'm a senior this year & I definitely remember my first day of freshman year. It wasn't fun at all, but now that I look back on it, it really is funny. To sum things up, they messed up my schedule & I went to all the wrong classes & got stared at by upperclassmen. Then on top of that, they have me the wrong locker, so when I went to put books back into my locker, a senior was standing there looking confused. I walked over & he explained that this locker was his & during his freshman year they did the same to him. I thought "okay how embarrasing" & simply appologized, grabbing my bookbag from my locker. Before walking away, he then mentioned that I was lucky because when it happened to him, the senior threw his stuff out in the hall & was very mad & then glared at me. I had to go back & get a new locker, spent 15 minutes searching for it, & then realized that I was the only freshman in the senior hall. You're probably wondering why I'm telling you this. Everyone goes through moments that are embarrasing & will make you worry, but you aren't alone. I'm not saying your first day will go like this, it most likely won't, but if it does, it will be hilarious to you years later. Relax & don't think about it. You aren't alone. You aren't the only freshman in your school. No one will know their way around the school, basically only a select few will, & if so, ask them! There's usually maps in the main office or assignment books. You could always ask other students. That's a great way to make new friends. There will always be someone in your lunch period. If its no one you know, just find an empty table [or somewhat empty] & meet new people. You could make great friends in high school. The buses won't be difficult to find. There will most likely be announcements & you can ask around.

-hope that helped!♥
