pool parties

Question Posted Wednesday August 15 2007, 7:55 am

OK so i go to A LOT of pool parties.
and well the thing is, i usually look horrible after i get out of the pool!
I see other girls just get out and dry off and they look great but my hair is very thick and wavy and when it gets wet and dries on its own, it gets very dry and frizzy.

also my face gets really dry after i go in the water and at home i use a hydrating gel, but i cant at a pool party.

I also have some acne that i like to cover up with makeup but that usually washes off and i mean i try to bring coverup to touch up in the bathrooom but still.

I want to know what i can do to just have fun at a pool party and not have to worry about how i look??

I bleach my hair so I have the same problem. All you have to do is when you get out of the pool put conditioner in your hair, not to much, but make sure you cover the whole head. It won't frizz. If that doesnt work for you message me and Ill tell you more ideas.

Don't get your head wet.

That should solve everything.

You might have less fun in the pool, but you'll stop worrying at the parties.

try putting ur hair up in a cute way so that way when it gets frizzy it wont be that noticable because its up! - like in a cute messy bun, or use cute hairclips
and for makeup if you put on waterproof suntan lotion on before you put your concealor/foudation on then it helps the makeup to hold on even when your in the water! :)
dont worry to much though! your not the only one that has this happen to u :] hope i helped!

To make your hair not get frizzy and dry after you get out of the pool, try this.

There's this nifty spray that you can get from Matrix called Matrix Essentials Preforma Hairspray, and it supposedly works wonders for "swimmer hair".

Here's a link to it:

There's also Nexus Aloe Rid Deep Clarifying Solution here: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

That's also to help hydrate swimmer's hair.

If you need anymore help, just ask. :)

If you wear a shower cap when you're in the pool, and just take it off when you get out, your hair will still be dry.
