Is there anyway to make you a faster runner... like instantly
I'm extremely athletic, but I have to run a 5:50 mile, so I was wondering:
Does like adrenaline make you run faster? Like "fight or flight?"
If so, how can you make your adrenaline higher?
Also, any other ways to make you run a fast mile time?

After you get comfortable running some distance try going for a mile. That should help out a lot. [ Sk8RcH1cK1773's advice column | Ask Sk8RcH1cK1773 A Question ]

When I run with fast beat music that motivates me I can easily burn 30 seconds or more off because it just gets me going so much. You have to really get into a mind set and what I do sometimes is think of someone or something that's motivating you like keeping your eye on the prize the whole time. Like if your in the mind frame of: "I got to do this for (insert name here)" I think it helps. When i get a good playlist going on my iPod and hit the track I feel liek i can do ANYTHING and I instantly tune everything out so definitely find some intense music that you can run with.
