CheerCrazyx0x answered Wednesday August 15 2007, 11:09 pm: I dated a guy two years older then me in highschool.. I was a sophomore and he was a senior... he dealt with the same stuff, mostly from girls in his grade. He was the sweetest kid ever and he made every girl feel special... so all the girls in his grade were sooo jealous of our relationship and they would tease him about it... he really let it get to him.. it really affected our relationship..I felt like it was hidden. Don't let that happen. In the end you will regret it. If you love her.. be confident about it and don't let anyone's jealousy get in between that.. it's not worth it. The more open you are about your relationship, people will give up teasing you because they'll see they aren't getting under your skin and controlling you.. ! I hope I helped you out a little bit.. Good luck with everything!! <3 [ CheerCrazyx0x's advice column | Ask CheerCrazyx0x A Question ]
xx_suppenteekay answered Wednesday August 15 2007, 1:31 am: age is nothing but a number.
i mean, if you love this girl, who cares what people say?
they aren't the one who's dating her, so it shouldn't effect them.
i'm fourteen & dating someone who is seventeen.
so i guess i kindof get where you're coming from, but in the end it doesn't matter.

If anyones going to say stuff to you then they are low and insecure or even JEALOUS! If she is the one you love and wanna be with then thats awesome! Why give that up!? People will respect you more for sticking to what you want to do it also makes you more mature!
I say stick with her you guys seem perfect don't listen to anyone else. When I was in this situation it was one of my best relationships my first love I believe still so it's definitely worth it to stick it out
LM answered Tuesday August 14 2007, 11:06 pm: People are going to make fun of you no matter what. Others may be concerned by the 3-year age difference. As long as both of your parents approve [if they do, you're most likely a decent guy] I honestly don't see it as a problem. 3 years is a bit significant, though, and a lot of people won't understand your relationship no matter what you say to them. I wouldn't let anyone else's opinion interfere, in this situation.
