I start lacrosse in the fall. My school has pre-season practices which I hear are pure hell. Running 3-5 miles every day, not to mention a 14 mile run one day of the practices in the week is something that will be difficult for me. Hearing this is so discouraging. I love lacrosse but I can't run 5 miles! The heat and running really get to me quickly. Any advice would be appreciated.

Also, if you really want to do it you should talk to the coach and say you are going to try your best and really want it and prove to them that you do! I think if you can't do it the coaches should respect you because thats asking A LOT when i did lacrosse we did not have to do such vigorous training. I think you just need to run the treadmill and practice practice practice and do your best! If that's not enough then they don't deserve you on the team anyway!
