Question Posted Monday August 13 2007, 4:55 pm

I am 13 years old and I want a myspace, but my mom will not let me have on. Does anyone know about any websites that are like myspace but no age limits?

Um, don't go to myspace or anything like myspace because it's super addicting and you can't stop. Seriously. And, myspace = stalker central. You don't want that now, do you?

I can understand why your mom doesn't want you on Myspace, considering that the internet in general is filled with online predators and other dangerous things -- especially, when it comes to Myspace. However, there are alternatives to Myspace that are just as good, if not better.

Such as Facebook, Xanga, and Bebo. All three of these are pretty much like Myspace, except in my opinion, they're safer. They do have an age limit (all social networking sites do), however, it's thirteen so you'll be able to use them as long as your mom allows you.

Facebook and it is like myspace but it is kinda diffrent because there is no layouts but you can still comment pictures and friends , but there is also better things about it like that you can draw grafitti to someone and send them crazy pictures that you make one the site. I think you should check it out you wont be sorry =)

Myspace can be extremely dangerous, especially for young teens. Since you are only 13, that is probably why your mom won't allow it. I think you should respect your mom & wait to get one. They aren't that great & all websites have an age limit. There are other sites such as Buddy4u where you can make your own profiles & do things like that, but all sites where you post pictures & daily things about yourself have an age limit. Xanga is another option. Your mom would probably not approve of websites relevant to myspace, so it probably would not be a good idea searching for them. They really are dangerous & if your mom did find it, which is very easy to do, she may take away your internet privledges. If you are still wanting a site, I would suggest asking your friends about any of theirs.

-hope that helped!♥
